April 22, 2022 – VOSS North America USA and Mexico proudly celebrate Earth Day together!
VOSS USA will volunteer at the Little River Wetlands Eagle Marsh Nature Preserve on Friday April 22nd to help set-up for the Fort Wayne Community Earth Day event on Sunday April 24th, expected to draw more than 2,500 participants. The event will highlight the work of dozens of environmental organizations, conservation partners and local businesses aimed to help protect and restore the wetlands and encourage good stewardship of our natural ecosystems.
VOSS employees and their families will volunteer and attend the Fort Wayne Earth Day event and help support a dozen educational stations for participants of all ages to learn about wetlands, wildlife, ecological restoration and pollinators. Attendees will be able to help plant native plants in the marsh and take a native plant home.

“The Earth is our home and what we all have in common and share. We all make an impact and have a responsibility to work together to make a difference each and every day,” said Ariana Wills, Environmental Health and Safety Specialist.
In recognition of Earth Day, each VOSS employee will receive one small tree to take home and plant.
VOSS Mexico will celebrate Earth Day through employee educational sessions and a reuse, reduce and recycle campaign. Employees will volunteer on June 5th for International Environmental Day to plant trees and support their local environmental organization.
“Earth and nature are pretty similar to our parents, they create amazing masterpieces without expecting any kind of payback, we need to give them the right value, respect and for sure take care of them,” said Raul Calvillo, VOSS Mexico Maintenance Manager.
